Reconstruction of Notre Dame Cathedral<\/strong><\/p>

No fewer than 2,000 trees from ancient French forests will be used to restore the part of the cathedral destroyed by fire three years ago.<\/p>

The appeal is being made to Vincent Corbi\u00e8re, Jean-Louis Chalmandrier, Valentin Patry, and Pierre Nogueira, sawmill owners and patrons of the project. They are not the only ones involved. Forty-five sawmills across France have responded to their federation’s call to rebuild the 96-meter spire free of charge.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

A new lease of life<\/strong><\/p>

Pierre Nogueira succeeds Christian No\u00ebl at the Larchamp sawmill (Mayenne). No\u00ebl is retiring after 36 years at the helm of the company, founded by his father Joseph in 1948.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

No\u00ebl Sawmill Takes Over by Pierre Nogueira<\/strong><\/p>

While far too many sawmills close each year, some are also taken over. The No\u00ebl sawmill in Mayenne, under the leadership of Pierre Nogueira, is a prime example, having embarked on a new chapter with a fresh start.<\/p>

The new owner, 30-year-old Pierre Nogueira, holds a two-year technical degree in forestry and a bachelor’s degree in business administration. Originally from the Loire Valley, he has a strong family connection to the timber industry.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
